Rill Clear Recycled Glass Bottle Vase, Small

A short, round-bellied bottle in clear recycled glass, with a band of natural raffia wound tightly around the neck. At 30 cm it is the smallest of the three Rill sizes — a shelf or bedside piece rather than a floor one, and the right height for a few short stems or nothing at all.

Recycled glass is not optically clear. Ours carries a faint green cast, a scatter of small bubbles and slight variation in wall thickness, because it is blown by hand into a mould from reclaimed cullet. If you want colourless, flawless glass, this is not it. The raffia is a dry natural fibre and will lighten a little in strong sunlight.
