Drift Tall Organic Recycled Glass Vase, Smoked Amber

The same undulating hand-formed profile as the wide Drift, pulled into a column: 73 cm high on a 34 cm footprint. It is the tallest piece in the range and the one that most rewards being left empty, because the ripples run the full height and flowers hide them.

Tall and narrow is a real constraint. The base is not wide relative to the height, so it wants a flat, stable surface and is not a good choice for a hallway with a dog or small children in it. Empty it is 16.1 lb; a few inches of water in the bottom will steady it considerably. Colour runs through the glass rather than over it.
